X-Men Apocalypse Movie Review

X-Men:Apocalypse (PG-13)

Length:- 2 hr. 23 min.

Review
"X-Men:Apocalypse" is a sci-fi movie which is another installment in the X-Men franchise. This is probably one of the weakest X-Men movies so far. It takes a lot of time in building the base of the plot. The characters are not developed but they are thrown at you.You don't feel invested in them and the emotions attached to them feel generic and not so connected. The last movie I saw from the X-Men franchise was way too better than this movie. The plot pretty much feels convoluted with just a mission to stop a super power ancient X-Men who woke up from the sleep he was in.Interesting characters like Magento also feels like a blur.Story behind this movie just sucks, the visual effects somehow lets us tolerate this incredible boring drama.

Most of the movie looks pretty cartoonish it doesn't give you a real feel of what's going on. This movie was supposed to have something like larger than life story telling, which it's not. It could have so much better in many ways like proper structuring of the plot, better character formation. So many X-Men doesn't give us a good movie. Oscar Isaac try to make things better but things seems to be out of his hands.Best character I saw in this movie was Jean (Sophie Turner) which takes interesting turns as the movie proceeds.Overall, This movie could be perfectly avoided as t=it doesn't give you a good time.

Verdict:- Average

Ratings:- 2 / 5 Stars
