Ghayal: Once Again Movie Review

Ghayal:Once Again is the long awaited sequel of the 1990 blockbuster " Ghayal" .It begins with a good note of glimpse of the previous movie then it's shows incredible and emerging city of India called Mumbai. For the big part film seems to be generic and not interesting or compelling. This is just because of the single reason that nothing extraordinary and out of the box is offered. The plot is pretty much like any other Bollywood movie with some high tech presentation.

One thing I like about this movie is it's far from ahead from boring and entirely unwatchable. It's rather a film which never gets far enough to be a great entertainerThere is scene in this movie where four kids are chased by a mafia. It is really long which makes it boring. While tending towards the end movie feels like ending up nowhere.I would say it started well but goes in a wrong direction somewhere close to interval and never comes back.

It seems like film might have had more content then it could have helped it to be a better entertainer.Because post interval you don't see much happening at all. What we see is just a drag of cat and mouse chase.

Teraa Surroor Trailer Review

"Teraa Surroor" is an upcoming Bollywood thriller drama. This film is a sequel to Himesh Reshammiya's acting debut "Aap Kaa Surroor".In the film's trailer Himesh is looking more fit from his previous films. He seems to have worked on his body probably for this film.Even though film's trailer seems average yet there are few things which are appreciable here like cinematography, little better plot, exotic locations, better camera work etc. After all the movie still looks like an old cinematic experience. Due to lack of an interesting topic or providing a more realistic cinematic experience ;film could be a blur.Emotional scenes seems exaggerated which might make them cumbersome. In my opinion the music also feels like a little old fashioned. But, the good part is this time "Teraa Suroor" will not have too many songs unlike it's prequel "Aap Ka Surroor".

"Teraa Surroor" will be releasing in the theatres on March 11th 2016. Film could be considered a nice tour of Dublin as it shows various parts of the city.Actions scenes feels overstated and little too many in number. Monica Dogra will also be seen  in a supporting role although her role is not shown much in the trailer. There are some hot scenes in the film which is shown in the initial part of the trailer. Nowadays these kind of scenes barely make any difference in the box-office collection of the film. In some parts of the trailer Himesh doesn't act like a mature or a great actor. It is clearly visible that he lacks acting experience and needs more work on that.

Aligarh Movie Trailer Review

"Aligarh" is a sociopathic drama about a professor who came into limelight because of his sexual orientation. This film is based on the real life story of a Professor from Aligarh Muslim University. The lead character of Dr. Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras will be played by Manoj Baypee. His appearance in the trailer seems different then usual. Also,The looks of character  seems more natural and realistic.Homosexuality is not a common topic for Bollywood industry and it has been seen in a really offensive way in the society. This film is directed by Hansal Mehta who directed critically acclaimed film like "Shahid" and "Citylights". So, Obviously expectations from this film raises naturally.

Rajkumar Rao will playing a journalist in the movie. This movie has a sensitive topic to be executed as a plot.Scenes from the trailer looks more circumstances driven. Two of the great performance oriented actors will be seen in one movie which will is supposed to bring something incredible onscreen.Karan Johar has touched the topic of gay in many of his movies. However, "Aligarh" could be a completely different perspective from being homosexual.Even though the budget of the film looks low yet it seems to be good as far content of the film is concern. It also seems to be more art driven.

Verdict:- Good

Airlift Movie Review

"Airlift" is documentary drama film which which moves with a snails pace.It is based upon the evacuation of the Indian down in Kuwait who gets stuck because of the war between Iraq and Kuwait. There might not be much to explore in terms of story it's rather the genre and situational driven drama.Cinematography is good and the sets are so nicely created that they almost look real. Largest evacuation in mankind history which was done by Air India in 1990 is what movie is all about. Akshay Kumar's performance brings this film a realistic charm with natural acting.Namrit Kaur doesn't get much chance in this movie but still she does a great job in playing a less significant role.

Raja Krishnan Menon emerges as a new talented actor. He was earlier into directing ad films.I am definitely looking forward to his next film. There is some sort of dragging in parts of the film. You might think where is this actually going because of it's slow pace, no timeline based sequences. For small little parts it may look like a blur. However, The movie as a overall product looks consistently focused on Indian patriotism, unity and courage. This is probably one of the most well made documentary films of the year. Flaws still exist yet the overall experience from the film is still positive.

Verdict:- Good
