Prem Ratan Dhan Payo Movie Review

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is kind of a gift to Indian traditions. Even though this film may not have much matching in terms of today's modern world. However, It may never give you any hard time For the most part film does show some trends which are highly uncommon for today's world. But, Still this film is thoroughly enjoyable. For a small part film's length could bother you a little. While tending towards end the film does get a little sophisticated than it actually looks. Best part of the film is it gives you a great family time.Salman Khan is the soul reason to watch this film. He does what he does in a way that no actor can actually do. He plays this simplistic, innocent and nice dude with a adorable charm.

For some part the film seems to be similar to the old story of 80's or 90's like the double role of Salman Khan doesn't make much of a sense for current story trend. Sonam Kapoor is nice yet her role is somewhat limited to the script of the movie. This film is product of creating a match between today modern world and old Indian customs and traditions. For some part it can be taken as granted but it cannot be considered as a major success for the same.Actually, This family reuniting drama goes on for a little longer than expected.

Plotwise "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" is not unpredictable or surprising. Yet, It keeps you engaged for the most of the time. It 's one of films which can give a good time with family when you keep your expectations low. Sooraj Barjatya has been in industry for a while now but his last few films were not so so.This film actually shows his believe and attachment towards Indian culture. He even didn't change the name of his lead character i.e. Prem from Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. This time his films is considerably good.

Verdict:- Good

Ratings:- 3 / 5 Stars
