Manjhi:The Mountain Man Movie Review

Manjhi:The Mountain Man (U)

Length:- 2 hrs. 4 min.

"Manjhi:The Mountain Man" is a biographical film about the life of a man named Dashrath Manjhi.Ketan Mehta who directed this film has been working mostly on the films based on Indian history. He was never a highly acclaimed director but his work was different and appreciable. This time he has bring us the story of a man who wants to break a mountain to build a path.I must say this story has an amazing idea and the film is executed in a good way as well. But, It could be boring sometimes to watch a movie which looks like more sort of an art film.

The main reason which makes this movie a watchable experience is Nawazuddin Siddiqui's performance. Although this film might not be able to give you the similar kind of inspiration which "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" gave it to us. But, it's surely inspiring how an uneducated man's never dying spirit takes a mountain down? Also, there are some good dialogues in the movie. The most famous and also seen in the trailer is "Bhagwan ke barose mat bahto kya pata bhagwan aapke barso betha ho".

Despite of simplicity and not too much of a soberness. This film is an entertaining and watchable experience.

Verdict:- Good

Ratings:- 3 / 5 Stars
