Baahubali Movie Review

Baaubali(U/A)

Length:- 2 hrs. 39 min.

Review
"Baahubali" is one of the most high budget Indian film so far. It was mainly made in Telugu but being dubbed in many different Indian languages. It is directed by one of the most talented director SS Rajamouli. Most of his films were really high rated by the critics so far. The expectations from "Baahubali" was much higher , even before the release people were way too excited to watch this movie."Baahubali" is actually made in two parts so only first part is released so far and the second part of the film would be released next year. the story is about a tradition India where a guy is somehow saved and raised by an unknown. Sounds like a Mahabharat kind of a story.May be it took little bit of inspiration from there.

Even though Baahubali is a traditional drama yet it's film-making has extraordinary charm.May be this the first time we have made a film which is comparable to the Hollywood standard. Baahubali is a obvious a guy with numerous strength and power. May be is Hercules of India. For many portions I found the movie to be a derivative or inspiration of some epic Hollywood movies. Yet it maintains it's originality and is epic on it's own.Shiva (Prabhas) is Baahubali and one of the only human who can climb the giant mountain. Avanthki (Tamannah) is also a warrior. For the first time I liked Tamannah in a movie because is bubbly with feminist charm.Yet she maintains warrior toughness whenever it's needed.

"Baahubali" is a very watchable and enjoyable experience. It's one of the movies that should not be missed because these kind of films comes once in a while.Although it is a fact that I never found the movie to be that great as it claims to be.

Verdict:- Pretty Good

Ratings:- 3.5 / 5 Stars
