Jurassic World (PG-13)
Length:- 2 hrs. 10 min
"Jurassic World" is a sci-fi movie is a sequel to Steven Spielberg's cult classic 1993 "Jurassic Park".I must say that this one has much resemblance in terms of story to that movie.Even the climax is way too similar to the previous movie. It feel like you are watching modified version of the previous film itself. The basic problem here is the plot which is convoluted. The Dinosaurs are not to impressive, they are shown just to add some thrilling moments to the film.Although this is not a unwatchable movie rather it's good enough to watch for a single time. It's a movie which never touches your heart to leave an impression.
Chris Patt acting is really appreciable here, he is the only one in this movie who keeps you at your toes.Rest of the actors doesn't leave a lasting impression. The cinematography is nice and some of the scenes are thrillingly shot in the movie to enhance viewers experience. What's missing in the dark side or scary part of the dinosaurs existence. We do see them as a threat but on the smaller scale. The starting of the film was way to boring unlike other movies of the same genre, which usually have a fascinating genre. I had a feeling that what exactly is going on here? After a while the movie picks up a little bit and makes progress.
One more big loophole of this movie is it doesn't give a feeling of larger than life story telling. It just gives you a couple of good thrilling and enjoyable shots but the overall film as a product remains generic for the most part."Jurassic World" doesn't have a new mystery plot and it's predictable.Overall, the movie is just an old affair wrapped up into new package with no new elements.
