Hunterr Movie Review

Hunterr (A)

Length:- 2 hrs. 21 min.

Review
"Hunterr" is an bold drama about the sexuality related thoughts. But unlike the usually films of these genre it does make sense. The story revolves around three friends who are bold about the sexual thoughts since childhood. The movie switches back and forth numerous times. The ending can easily be predicted."Hunterr" could possibly be the first film which gives nudity a charm. It is clever in converting the content into entertaining stuff. We do have some brave dialogues but the film may never cross a line. The actors are not big named ones but matured enough to play their part. Phantom Films have produced numerous movies in the recent few months itself. Last week only we saw "NH 10" and this week it's "Hunterr".

Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motane, and others have had a great team working with them for sometime. Now, those team members have come up with their own product (film). It's interesting to know that the film's are not conventional. They are actually unique and quality cinema, most of the time."Hunterr" is not a perfect good film, it does have flaws and some dragging moments. I think the length of the movie is higher than the normal length of movies of such genre.Film should have been over in almost 2 hrs in order to make the execution better and more convincing without any dragging moments.

What works here is the good background music with some unusually lyrical songs. The best song is "Hunterr 303" sung by Bappi Lahri, which is played two times in the movie. Inspite of all the appreciable elements present in "Hunterr" it doesn't turn out be a highly entertaining watch."Hunterr" tries to show us that sex can be addictive, necessity or even just an accessory for entertainment. But people who do it(sex) outside the line may want to stop doing it because of the consequences involved, is the message of the movie.

Verdict:- Interesting but not convincing

Ratings:- 2.5 / 5 Stars
