Detective Byomkesh Bakshy Movie Trailer Review

Dibankar Banerjee is a Bollywood Director of Bengali origin. In a short career span of less than a decade he has proved that he is capable of making quality cinema. He might not have received too much success in making money on box-office yet his films were highly appreciated by critics. In collaboration with Yash Raj Films Dibankar Banerjee is coming up with "Detective Byomkesh Bakshy". This film is set in Calcutta of ancient time when detectives were not that common in the life's of Indian's. It is assumed that it's inspired from from the fictional character of Byomkesh Bakshi created by Bengali writer Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay.

Film's marketing looks good so far and it's certainly able to create some curiosity among the audiences. So people are certainly looking forward towards this film but if it's gonna be a hit or flop certainly depends on the report of the movie. from the two trailers which are being released the film looks nice. The set up and ambiance is making sense here. Sushant Singh Rajput who is playing a Bengali boy in the film who later becomes a detective is looking nice in the Bengali get ups.The first trailer of "Byomkesh Bakshy" was a little confusing and ambiguous while the second trailer is clear, interesting and concised.

"Detective Byomkesh Bakshy" is supposed to be released next month in the theaters on 3rd April 2015. Sushant Singh Rajput is a fine actor, he has proved this with his first film itself. This movie is relying only on him as far as actors are concerned. As per the story there is a Chinese gang in the movie who has killed someone but he returns back by being alive. How this happening and why this is happening in Calcutta of 1943? Byomkesh Bakshy has to literally find out the same.It looks like he finds out something else as well while working on this case. What that? can be seen in the film.

Verdict:- Good

Ratings:- 3 / 5 Stars
