Since Inception I got an idea that " Hawaizaada" doesnot have a well defined plot. It tries to create the atmosphere and ambience of an early time. Yet that's not nearly good enough to deliver an entertaining movie. Ayushman Khurana plays a dump guy who is about to create some genuine new thing but for the most part his character is a little annoying rather than interesting. The one who leaves an impression from " Hawaizaada" is the actress Pallavi Sharda. From the first scene itself she is beautiful, adorable and highly feministic. The film makes us bored in the initial half an hour itself. This movie has a highly lacking execution of a great idea.
The generic attitude of making something big is the problem here.I cannot really understand why a story of a genius has so much of the romance. This melodramatic romance doesnot suit the genre.Songs are really annoying and unnecessary.Somewhere,I read that "Every genius has a tragedy" but don't really one here.Combo of Mithun and Ayushman works for a small interval of time but after a while it does look generic as well.
Making a story of a genius, which would actually make you believe an unexpected true to raise some patriotism towards your country requires some sort of sophisticated efforts and their execution. The never ending effort is the key to success. It can make you achieve what is nearly impossible. This is the message "Hawaizaada" wants to convey with some ingredients of patriotism and historic setups.Overall, this well intentional film is unable to deliver what it should have.
