Badlapur Movie Review

Badlapur (A)

Length:-   2 hrs. 3 min.

Review
"Badlapur" is a thriller revenge drama, which may not have too much on the story-side yet it manages itself really well to be entertaining. When I saw Varun Dhawan in "Student of the Year" I didn't like him much. Afterwards also his films didn't do much of a critically acclaimable work. When I first saw the teaser trailer of "Badlapur" I made my mind that film is gonna be a great watch. Varun Dhawan's look is entirely changed for the movie. He looks  like a fascinating angry young man for the most part."Badlapur" fulfills all the desires of a revenge saga. The script is crisp and compelling. It sticks to what needs to deliver and never deviates  from it's path. There are numerous characters in the film, each has it's own story and everyone is interesting.

"Badlapur" shows a journey of a man  named Raghu (Varun Dhawan) who turns from a positive to negative. How turns out to be a mad negative guy who does almost everything to take the revenge for the murder of his wife. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is an extraordinary actor he plays his role with the required sophistication whether is conceiving police for the murder he commit or the one he didn't commit. He also takes the film's responsibility in his own hand whenever and wherever it's required. The violent is brutal and the suspense is charming yet "Badlapur" is realistic , believable and watchable. For the first time I felt that a filmmaker can easily manage to entertain us even though they don't have much on the story side.

The climax takes an unexpected and the movie gets the deserving end.It was interesting to see how Raghu kills his wife's murder's partner and leaves the actually murderer to die on his won at one moment. We do have charming Huma Qureshi playing a prostitute. She catches our attention even in less significant role and character which has less to explore. SriRam Raghavan who directed "Agent Vinod" sometime back makes a remarkable success by "Badlapur". "Badlpur" is this year's best film so far. It does has everything at right place with a delightful experience.

Verdict:-  Pretty Good

Ratngs:-  3.5 / 5 Stars
