The Prince Movie Review

The Prince

Length:- 1 hr. 33 min.

"The Prince" is an action gangster drama about a  Sam (Jason Patric) whose motto is to the save his daughter. The drama is executes so slowly that you will lose the interest within 15-20 minutes of the film. Although the film is not long in length yet it seems like it will take forever for this film to end. No idea why Bruce Willis has done such a pathetic film. He is a great actor was not expected to work in a film this. Although he is not playing main character in the film.Paul search towards his college-age daughter Beth (Gia Mategna) is the center point of the story. You might thing that it may execute in a bit similar way like "Taken" but trust me its not something which is being shown. The cinematography of the film is the only thing appreciable here.

Inception of "The Prince" was not bad like the way it start with a power packed background music. Later the background music also shatters slowly to charm us. The story gets convoluted and the film gets more and more boring. When film reach half the way I personally felt restless and thought what is going on here? I wish the film could have been much more interesting than it was.Angela (Jessica Lowndes) was totally wasted.I am not sure how to say this but to me she sounds to be like a prop. Her looks are highly adorable and charming yet nothing significant.

Lots of gun fire, loud genre are common of these kind of films. Yet we see these things here only after a while. Talking here making very little sense. Bruce Willis is confident and acts mature as needed by his role. Although there isn't much in the film for him to depict.Overall, I would say "The Prince" is highly avoidable under any circumstances.

Verdict:- Below Average
