Lie To Me (TV Series) Review

Micro-expression has been integrated part of American's  but whether the expression are fake or real could be a question of the day? Here, is the complete TV series on the same topic. The deception expert named Dr. Cal Lightman who is educated from the Oxford University and his teammates tries to solve the crime by their deception expertise."Lie To Me" throws a light into completely untouched topic by any other TV Series. The expression may be smile, fear, anger, contempt, control and many others. The question is why someone is lying about what they are lying? This TV Series had three season which was finished in the year 2011. "Lie To Me" is highly watchable and fascinating series. I came across this series about a year and half ago. As, I have newly started a column exclusively for the  TV Series. So, I wanted to share it with my blog readers and get them benefited.

Dr. Cal Lightman (Tim Roth) runs a private detective firm with her partner Dr. Gillian Foster (Kelli Williams). They takes private as well FBI related cases and works along with two other coworkers -Ria Torres (Monica Raymund) and Eli Loker (Brendan Hines). Dr. Lightman is usually unable to use his expertise with her daughter Emily Lightman (Hayley McFarland) who is also involved in illegal activities on a small scale. For some of episodes there is dual case scenario which is being solved by two members in a team. Watching this show might come as a learn experience about the micro-expressions. This show utilizes the fundamental techniques based the real life research which makes use of the gestures, perception, point of view and many other aspects of human behavior for the analysis about the crime scene.

"Lie To Me" is a thought provoking drama with a real life scenario of truth behind lying. In every episode the show there is an expression shown multiple times which might help in finding out the truth about crime of any kind. As all us known that none of the human being is perfect. So do Dr. Lightman's character. He actually has committed some crime before starting his detective firm. Also, he had some issues with the government. While solving the cases sometimes the family background issues of Dr. Lightman or her partner Dr. Foster has been revealed.Like the one in which Dr. Foster discloses that how could not adapt a child and her emotional embarrassment of not being a mother.

Verdict:- Pretty Good

Ratings:- 7.1 / 10
