Khoobsurat Movie Review

Khoobsurat (U/A)

Length:- 2 hrs. 10 min.

Khoobsurat is royal romantic comedy drama.Dr. Milli Chakravarty (Sonam Kapoor) is a famous physiotherapist who accepts an assignment of working for a royal Rathore family."Khoobsurat" is believed to be a remake of the film by same name. This film reminds me of Aisha which was also a royal genre. Most important it was being produced by Anil Kapoor. The film also comes with a royal Disney tag. Characters are the most adorable part of the film. Everyone is individualistic and has different characteristics. The song "Maa ka phone aaya" is really funny. The background music of the movie is pretty good.

Introduction of Milli to the royal Rathore family is highly entertaining. Sonam has got a good Delhi accent in the film. Her performance brings a charm to her character. Best part of Milli is she never gets sad and brings happiness to the Rathore family. Milli and the Prince Vikram Rathore (Fawad Khan) are exactly opposite to each other that's why the film is got a tagline "The Royal Misfit". Yet both of them gets attracted to each other meanwhile they kiss each other. This gives the film an interest scene in which Milli and Vikram acts strangely after the kiss.

Inspite of all the interesting scenes and the characters the movie targets only niche audiences. It's not too boring to watch yet its not that entertaining also. Aditi Rao Hydari is sweet in a guest appearance. Fawad Khan plays her role nicely as a Prince. The costumes of the movie has variety and class. Kirron Kher does not much chance due to the her stereotyped character.

Verdict:- Above Average

Ratings:- 2.5 / 5 Stars
