Creature 3-D (U/A)
Length:- 2 hrs. 14 min.
Creature 3-D is a thriller drama about a unique living being. Its being called "Brahm Raksha" who cannot be killed by usual bullets. This giant living being looks somewhat like a big lizard. Ahana (Bipasha Basu) is a hotel owner somewhere in the forests of Himachal Pradesh. She has spent a lot of money and effort on the hotel. Also, She took some loan amount for the same. One day this giant creature starts attacking the tourist of the hotel because of which hotel is under loss and about to close. What I regret here is the film seems a bit cartoonist. Also, there has not been much work done for the make up of the many artists. So, many of them look awful.
Honestly, I found the film boring because other than the Creature there its anything much entertaining. Most of the songs were unnecessary and awful. Yet there are some moments in the film which might make you watch this simplistic drama. The one scene which I personally found interest is where Prof. Sadana (Mukul Dev) comes into the picture and explains some of the facts about this "Brahm Raksha". That's where I personally felt relaxed and saw this film making a movement.
This was one of the first few times when I saw that actress has much more powerful role than the actor in the thriller films. Bipasha Basu probably looks confused, how to do what she was supposed to do? Vikram Bhatt makes movies mostly based on thriller or horror genre. He always tries to give some new concept in his films as far as the killing of the ghost or monster is concerned. Vikram Bhatt's work has been appreciable in many ways yet was not that conceiving or up to the mark. Kunal (Imran Abbas Naqvi) didn't get much chance to show his work as his character was limited by the film's script.
This story might have turned in something good if the script could have been more tightly written, nicely presented and properly executed. Film seems like a B-grade work overall.
