Teenage Mutants Ninja Turtles Movie Review

Teenage Mutants Ninja Turtles (U)

Length:- 1 hr. 37 min.

Review

Ninja Turtles is a story set in a modern time in New York. These giant and tough guys are fighting back for justice in the modern city. One journalist girl saw one of them. She tries to explain it to her fellow worker but they are not at all ready to believe. This girl tries to take pictures for second time she saw the Ninja Turtles. Does it sound similar to Peter Parker's Spider-man story.. Well it's actually not."Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" is the appropriate title for this film because this the movie just about these guys.

This film can be considered as the first movie which introduces Ninja Turtles to our society. One thing I did not really like about the film is it's execution because it's way too slow. The visuals of the movie is the only charm. The plot is boring, sluggish and sleep depriving. Story becomes tedious, monotonous and lifeless. The events are also unvarying and mind numbing I personally felt that there is not much other than introducing us to "Ninja Turtles ".There is one powerful Villain which just enhances some fighting sequences into the film.

This is probably one of less smart sci-fi movie of the year. I was expecting something really damn cool here because there was an option for creating a very good base of the future movie film series. Journalist  April O'Neil (Megan Fox) is possibly the only believer in the "Ninja Turtles"in New York city. How hard it is us to believe that? Also, it was harder to understand that how can a visually stunning film can be so simplistic and convoluted. May be the filmmaker has concentrated way too much on making film presentable but not appreciable.

Verdict:- Utterly Boring

Ratings:- 1.5 / 5 Stars
