"Singham Returns" is an upcoming action film which is a sequel to a box office successful film "Singham". Rohit Shetty has made a lot of films mostly of comedy or action in the last few years. Almost all of the films were box office blockbuster yet none of them were critically acclaimed. His films were mostly based on thin plot and no thought process was involved. You can watch his films from anywhere at any point of time you won't feel like you have missed much. If we see Hollywood films even if watch each and every second of the film. It is certain either you miss something or you won't understand something even after the film has ended. I personally felt pity for Indian films because without any problem statement, thought process film just keeps on going and people do enjoy it. In most of the films you will see heroes beating numerous guys comfortably. Our heroes are so power and minded that nobody can even understand how he does what he does?
I should say come on are we literally running out of creativity?Cannot we become a little more realistic in our films? Here is another film in the same category where hero is the most powerful and minded person on earth.Beating an army is effortlessly done here."Singham Returns" is based on the black money involved with Indian economy. It is obvious that this is a hero oriented movie so heroine won't able to do much here. Kareena Kapoor will be playing lead female part in "Singham Returns" while she is hardly there in trailer of the film."Singham Returns" has some patriotic elements as its content and the film is releasing on Independence Day i.e. 15th August 2014.
"Singham Returns" actually have lots and lots of actions. Even if you love action films I am not sure how long you can watch the same. Ajay Devgn has acted either in Rohit Shetty films or his home production films in the last few years. he used to be a performance oriented actor sometime back in 2005 when he did "Aparahan". Surely most of his films were based on some kind of a formula films. He acted in the prequel of the film in & as "Singham". In the prequel it's Prakash Raj who made the villian character quiet interesting and convincing. In "Singham Returns" the negative character will be played by "Amole Gupte". No doubt Amole Gupte is a talented person yet the negative character played by him in the film doesn't look good here.
