Ishkq in Paris Movie Review

Ishkq in Paris (U/A)

Length: - 1 hr. 36 min.

Ishkq in Paris is a come film of Preity Zinta on big screen while she was engaged in IPL during this time. Film has some of the beautiful shots of Paris but it has very little to say. Ishkq in Paris is short in length but you will feel restless because of the boredom in it. As the movie proceeds you might expect some kind of twist or turn but it’s never comes.

Ishkq in Paris is about two strangers who spends together a night in Paris together by indulging into various activities like dinner, party etc. You feel like film almost finished here because it is almost hollow after that. It tries to depict a story which is being stretched too far then it can go.

Akash (Rhehan Malliek) & Ishkq (Preity Zinta) meets in a train from Rome to Paris. They decides to spend a night together believing that they will never meet again but they were wrong about that and meets again in a very short span of time. Their feelings about each other change due to a conflict. What happens next?

Salman Khan makes a guest appearance in a Punjabi item song- Kudiye Di Kurti. This song also doesn't make movie interesting. Preity Zinta looks charming in some scenes while in some she looks a bit elder to her character. Rhehan Malliek play his part comfortable, although lacks in some scenes. Shekar Kapur & Chunkey Pandey is also there in a cameo but both have played characters of a little importance and seem to be almost wasted.

Ishkq in Paris is yet technically sound with good camerawork, beautiful location which are nicely being shot. Yet Ishkq in Paris doesn't have basic ingredients of a good film.

Verdict: - If the film’s story could have been as beautiful as
it’s locations then it might have been a better film.

Fast & Furious 6 Movie Review

Fast & Furious 6 (U/A)

Length: - 2 hrs. 11 min.

Fast and Furious 6 is a movie which revolves around a thin plot. The film has almost all glamorous features which are used to attract the audiences like action sequences, hot girls, fighting sequences etc. but its weak point lies in its plot.

Also, there are a lot of moments in the first half in which movie drags a lot but thanks to the glamorous second half which makes the film enjoyable for some time. Few moments in the movie are eye catching. One of them is Vin Diesel saving his girlfriend from falling by jumping out of his car.

Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his teammates who live in the various parts of the world are retired. Agent Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) gives them an assignment and asks Dom to get all his teammates ready for it. Bad guy named Shaw (Luke Evans) who operates an organization across 12 countries in the world. Dom’s girlfriend has no past memory; works with Shaw. How things works further can be enjoyed in the film.

There is a surprising new entry of the hero involved with same genre of movies in the end of the film. I won’t disclose the name but have a look at his scene before leaving the theater  which is quite impressive. Vin Diesel has a dominating role in the film and looks good in that. Dwayne Johnson also looks confident and tough as well. This time girls steal the show by good fight sequences. Fast and Furious has a lot to enjoy but a little to think.

Verdict: - One time watchable, just for fun but don’t expect more from this

Aurangzeb Movie Review

Aurangzeb (U/A)

Length: - 2 hrs. 15 min.

Aurangzeb is a film about Real Estate Empire in Gurgaon and cop's unique way to control it. Film’s dialogues are unique but not engaging. Story line of the film is not much refined in terms of the content. It’s neither dragging nor engaging drama, which has too much to say but not able to deliver it with perfection. Also, fails to convey its message properly.

Aurangzeb is a story about Yashwardhan (Jackie Shroff) who runs an empire of Real Estate in Gurgaon. After him there are many who want to take over his business. One of them is his son, Ajay (Arjun Kapoor). Yashwardhan is unaware of the fact that his second son Vishal (Arjun Kapoor) and his wife are alive. DCP Ravikant (Rishi Kapoor) takes the advantage of this & interchanges his son, in order to get information about Yashwardhan. After that what follows next are double cross, unobvious storytelling and brutal reality of India.

Rishi Kapoor is superb in his performance; he manages to get attention more than the lead star of the film Arjun Kapoor. Arjun Kapoor also looks mature in just his second film. Sasha Agha looks charming but not good in acting.

Aurangzeb is the Gangster thriller which works more on the empire ownership and less on the violence. At times being predictable it also wants to connect you to the story of Aurangzeb in the modern scenario. But, the content has very little to say about that. Apart from the kingship, Aurangzeb also has a family track through which it wants to convey the message.

Verdict: - Aurangzeb has lot say but because its confusing screenplay  it does not work out. Overall, falls short of expectations.

Go Goa Gone Movie Review

Go Goa Gone (A)

Length: - 1 hr. 56 min.

Film is technically good enough while instead of plot holes this film is low on plot itself. Go Goa Gone seems more on comedy side rather than being scary. In the first half itself it has very little to say but in second it’s completely hollow with almost nothing in it. Fails to keep you engaging even the jokes which are being passed leaves you restless after sometime.

Film is about three friends Hardik (Kunal Khemu), Luv (Vir Das) and Bunny (Anand Tiwari). They live together and even work for the same company as well. They leave for Goa and join a party there in which a special drug has supplied. In morning they discover that whoever has consumed that drug is turned into Zombie. How they save themselves from the zombies is what follows next.

Repetitive drama, less place for the plot and more on comedy defines Go Goa Gone. The repeated drama of Zombies chasing human with no twists and turns becomes unbearable after sometime. Kunal Khemu and Saif Ali Khan both are in a very good performance. Vir Das has also done justice but the girl named Luna (Puja Gupta) has nothing much to do in the film. There is a conversation between Luna & Hardik which is quite dragging & unconvincing.

Verdict: - High on technical and comedy side the film is not consistently watchable because of its weak plot.

Shootout at Wadala Movie Review

Shootout At Wadala (A)

Length: - 2 hrs. 35min.

Shootout at Wadala which is a sequel to Shootout at Lokhandwala  based on a book named Dongri to Dubai. Film consists of brutal action, double meaning one-liners and sex element. It has three item songs almost all of them are good to hear but has little connection with the film’s storyline. Film is too violent and sex is more than expected, slow motion action sequences which are a bit repetitive and lacks to create interest.

Manya Surve (John Abraham) who wants to be well educated man in his life somehow entangles with a murder and sent to jail. There he founds that he can no more be a good person and forms a gang with the help of Munir (Tusshar Kapoor).Meanwhile loses his love interest  Vidya( Kangana Ranaut). Rest of the drama is quite predictable and less engaging.

John Abraham has putted a lot of effort in playing his role and has done a fair enough job in that. Anil Kapoor looks mature and confident and has played his role really well. Manoj Bajpayee & Sonu Sood has short roles to play. John is the central character of the film, he looks dominating and tuff. If the film could have more refined content then it could have been a better entertainer.

Verdict: - Being predictable the film lacks to create interest
