Special Chabbis Movie Review

Special Chabbis (U/A)

Review
Special Chabbis is a movie about heists which took place somewhere in 80’s all over India by the name of CBI from a group of conmen. Neeraj Pandey creates a complete atmosphere of 80’s through this film ranging from 50’s & 100 rupees notes, dressing sense, attitude, style even screenplay is quiet matching with the tune. Ajay (Akshay Kumar) is the mastermind behind the gang of fake CBI conmen with Sharma (Anupam Kher) being his partner along with two fellows.
Special Chabbis has a nice plot and a bit of comedy attached to it to make sure that you are not bored. Set in 1987 Neeraj Pandey provides non-high tech but yet convincing and engaging storyline . Akshay Kumar looks simple and quiet into the character while Anupam Kher & Manoj Bajpai both has done a good job as well. Camera work in the film keeps experimenting with a lot of unique angle and different point of views.
Neeraj Pandey does not disappoint after a Wednesday he delivers a better and mature cinema. Special Chabbis is nice movie and it’s highly recommended that you watch it.
